Dec. 19: at Kansas
Dec. 22: Coppin State

Looks tough, good job Beilein.
Not to mention the TBD of the Old Spice Classic could include Baylor, Marquette, Xavier or Florida State
should have some top ranked competition for us to play. Looking forward to whomever Michigan matches up with.
Is the old spice classic going to be a real tourney? Even without that, BC, Utah, Kansas, UCONN is a solid slate.
BC is the ACC/Big Ten challenge, of course. Could have had worse ACC teams to go against, though.
I like how the schedule looks. Beilein has a good mix of quality opponents to challenge us and also some teams that we should beat easily. UCONN will be an easier match up for us this year with them losing their big man in Thabeet. We also gain some big men, so I like our chances against them. I have no idea how good Utah is, and I don't know how good BC will be for sure. Both are quality schools, though. The toughest game here is at Kansas. I'm not sure how good of a chance we have on this one untill we play a few games. Should be a good season for us this year. This is as exciting as it has been in a while for Michigan Basketball fans.
Old man = John Beilein
Young man = Joey Votto
Not afraid to admit it.
Looking forward to 1/17, hopefully a program-defining game for us...
Is that at UCONN or at crisler? Jan 17 is the day after my 22nd birthday(I was in VEGAS BABY for 21)
It's got to be at Crisler. We visited Storrs for last year's game.
wasn't houston baptist ridiculously awful last year? iirc they won less than 5 games last year
UMHoops touches on that subject without specifically mentioning them. UM is once again going to have a very good OOC schedule diluted in the RPI by including hideously awful teams instead of mediocre mid-major teams.
Honestly, I think it won't matter a bit. Not if we can snag the wins we need against the best competition. The committee didn't seem to care about the Savannah States and FGCU's of the world last year weighing down the RPI - either that or they let the big wins outweigh them. I think the 10 seed we got shows it.
great schedule...we'll definitely be challenged, the Old Spice will be tough but I think we're the favorite going down there
It's awesome to have something other than football season to look forward to again. Haven't felt that since 96.
I think you are forgetting hockey
This schedule is great. Can't wait for football, basketball, and hockey seasons. Should be a great fall and winter semesters next year.
Looks good. I hope I can get tickets for that UConn game. If we almost beat them at their place last year, imagine at crisler. kansas will be the hardest but I know that will be a great game.
i personally like a few more padding wins aganst directional michigan schools ... this schedule looks rough to me but im pessimistic .. .that being said i think we might have 2 nba players on our team next yr so we will be good and im pumped!
time in years...i'm more excited about Michigan than the Pistons.
