Michigan kicks off the 2012-13 athletic season, in grand fashion. The Women's Soccer team blasted Fordham 5-0 at U-M Soccer Stadium just now. Great defensive effort and offensive explosion in the 2nd half.
Let this be the first win of what will hopefully be many in this athletic season, in all sports. Go Blue!

I wonder what the maximum number of wins Michigan could get across all its D1 sports is? Whatever the number, I hope we go thatmany-0.
On that note, I wonder what the D1 record is or most varsity wins in a season by a school.

Sort of like the medal count, this sort of overemphasizes sports with a lot of games/season.

Oh and PS as a Packers fan it's always interesting to be reminded that Fordham athletics exists. I sort of thought they folded after the Seven Blocks of Granite.
