University of Windsor. 16,000 students. Not sure if this is still the case but you used to be able to see a rather large sign on one of their buildings when you crossed the Ambassador Bridge into Canada.

College sports is not the industry in Canada that it is here. But Canadian colleges are able to put ex-CHL guys on the ice.

Hey now...it's "The" University of Windsor fella. I actually did one degree there and while it's not considered Canada's greatest institution of higher learning (by any means) it does have a few areas of specialization that are quite well regarded.

As above, universities in Canada are able to play former CHL players. In fact, the OHL/CHL has a program where players are compensated with tuition/books/fees for university (or college/trade school if that's your thing) based on each season you play at a 1 for 1. This is the minimum of course and OHL drafted players can negotiate for better.

Windsor Spitfires vs. Michigan would be a good game. The Michigan team is deep with talent and older but the OHL is the OHL.

I went to this game, first one in probably 10 years. We brought my 4 and 7 y/o, the 4 y/o was a little overwhelmed, but the 7 y/o loved it.

I warms my maize and blue heart to see that the student section is still a well oiled machine with mostly the same cheers we did as students 20+ years ago.
