Michigan Gameday Players' Itinerary?

Submitted by Subrosa on
I was wondering if anyone knew what the general gameday itinerary for the players for a Michigan home game. Obviously the schedule will vary depending on whether the game is a noon start, a 3:30 start, or the inevitable eventual 8pm MAIZE RAGE games that will begin in 2014. Regardless, there HAS to be an itinerary to prevent a player from forgetting to shower or how to find the Big House or something. Anyway, I was wondering what it would be like moment-by-moment for a Wolverine on gameday. For example, I believe the players stay in a local hotel, and I know from the twitternets that the Victor's Walk is at 9:45am local time tomorrow. I also think that they'll get out on the field for warmups around an hour and change before kickoff. But what happens in the intervening minutes? What time is lights out the night before? When do they wake up? Does Barwis require them to work out/flee from his wolves/step into the octagon that morning? Do they meet with their position coaches at all for last minute instruction? At what time exactly are the two dozen virgins scheduled to feed Zoltan rare space grapes while they sensuously fan him with palm fronds? These are important questions, and inquiring minds want to know.

I don't know how much it would matter if they forgot to shower before the game. My guess would be they are woken up relatively on time, allowed to hang around, eat breakfast, listen to some music, and relax up until a few hours before the game. Then I'd bet it's all business. For the rest of the answers to your questions, you'll probably have to stalk some current players on Facebook so you can ask them yourself (or determine the answers by looking through all their pictures).

this probably will have bad grammer as im not in the right state of mind if you know what i mean... anyway a few weeks ago i took a look at the schedule for the western game which obviously started at 330. So all of the starters and a bunch of the backups stay in a hotel in AA the night before the game. The seniors get their own room in the hotel and Rich Rod gets two rooms i guess for his family. The rest of the team has a roommate that they spent the night with. Roomies of note: Sheridan and Tate, Cone and Denard... I found the qb's room assignments kinda funny but whatever. Friday nights before the game have a team dinner and then a team movie. The captains of the team pick the movie and everyone watches it(supposedly). I then believe it is lights out (probably around 11 or 12). I dunno the morning wake up time (i didnt pay that much attention) but i know Barwis doesn't have them do a workout in the morning. Its more about being ready at a certain time to make sure you get on the bus over to the stadium and ready to warm up and prepare for the upcoming game.
