The combination of him and Wheatley Jr is gonna be sick!
He just needs to get on the field. So deep at TE.

Agree. Bunting did everything right when he was given opportunity. He made some big plays and will be a monster on the other side of the Oline from Butt

i don't see him getting the 60 catch mark. i think there are just too many other weapons on this team. I'll go with 51 for 677 years and 8 tds
He should compete in syncronized diving, a tight Butt with a Steele Johnson
After 2 months, this is how you decide to make your mark?

the Tuman comparison seems like it's based entirely on stats. at least from how I remember Tuman.
I remember him as big and killed people on those waggles, hard to bring down.
butt is taller, and more lanky. he is better on deeper routes, catching in traffic, leaping, etc.
I have thought who is Butt's doppelganger and short of Devin Funchess, I don't know.
Maybe Jeff Smardzia (sp) from Notre Dame.
I mean...Butt is only one inch taller and one pound heavier than Tuman was at UM according to this video. Seems pretty close in terms of build.
couldn't watch the video but that surprises me. maybe my memory is hazy. Maybe it was the 90s oversized shoulder pads. I remembered Tuman being much wider/thicker. I would have guessed 40 lb heavier than Butt.
this is how I remember Tuman.

Maybe Tony McGee...

these are awesome.
Eric Kattus? I seem to remember him being a mobile tight end who never dropped a pass.
Kattus is still my favorite Michigan TE but Butt has a chance to overtake him with a great senior season.
