Arkansas also recently offered
[Title corrected, staff conducted a virtual visit, but no offer has been reported]
I mean, his highlight tapes look like he can play some legit ball
Here's his junior highlights:

I actually really like this offer. He has nice footwork and uses his body well around the rim. Seems to have a shot that extends out to 3 point range and like a high energy kid. He might need a little work in the weight room, but seems like a guy Juwan could really turn into a good player
Edit: We didn't offer him. Just had a full coaching staff meeting. That's my bad
Don't be a bull tschetter
The Big Fundamental!
looks like he should be playing for Wisconsin or Iowa.
Anybody have any insight into what his 3pt % is? He hits a couple in his highlights but I think even Juwan hit a triple once in college.
According to his Hudl film, 45% (67/149)
He's gonna have to get a higher release on his shot when he's no longer playing against a bunch of short white guys.
Why would you say he should be playing for Wisconsin or Iowa?? Because he’s white??
Because Wisconsin and Iowa has recently featured a number of white forwards and centers who have put up numbers on us.
In case you've forgotten:
- Frank Kaminsky
- Ethan Happ
- Micah Potter
- Luka Garza
- Roy Kriener
Or the fact that he looks like he is playing with a backpack filled with bricks on his back.
well Iggy is white and he reminds me nothing of him, so I think it's more than just the color of his skin.
Did we actually offer him? The tweet just says we met with him
It also says he's a 4 star. They aren't usually unranked, so it's just a matter of time.
He's unranked on 247 and in the composite. He's a generic 3 star on Rivals. Not sure why the tweet says he's a 4 star
We didn't offer. Just had a full staff meeting. That's my bad. That's what I get for trying to make a post at midnight
His game gives off a DeShawn Sims vibe. Looks like a kid who should be in the 75-125 range when it's all said and done.
I like his game. The one thing I keep noticing is his super low shot release point. Not just on jumpers but around the basket as well. Could speed up his release on the jumper also.
"Heat" seems like an odd nickname for a team based in Minnesota.
As long as they were stealing nicknames from NBA teams, maybe they should have taken Lakers. LA isn't known for its lakes after all.
Please tell me I missed the joke. You do know where the Lakers originated...right?
Briefly reviewed some film on Tschetter. Hard to really evaluate/project, the comp level definitely leaves a bit to be desired. He certainly has some physical limitations, particularly with his acceleration and lack of movement in general. Like his perimeter footwork and dropsteps in the paint. He can shoot the ball when his feet are set, but the shot origin is very low in tandem with it being a set shot. That gives me concern about whether he can get clean looks from distance at the next level. Only viable position in college is PF, doesn't move well enough to be a SF and lacks adequate size to be a C.
Pending a live evaluation, I'd probably have him at a mid-upper 3 star in the 125-175 range overall for my rankings.
