Smith is a versatile combo forward who would fit in well with the last spot in our class. He is likely leaning elsewhere right now but with getting him on campus, anything can happen

Interesting... i was wondering if he and Whitmore were no longer being recruited.
Gotta recruit to the bell...I like Traore, but can't put all your eggs into one basket...
The reviews on Smith are all very good...he'd be a great addition to the class as well.

Traore just transferred to Arizona prep school (Dream City Christian Prep)…was hoping for IMG academy to be with Jett. His new school is loaded with the likes of top 5 overall Shaedon Sharpe among others.

Was also noted to be more indifferent on michigan than once previously conceived. Regardless, I think this last spot (what we are all projecting to be the last anyway) is going to be reserved for a high(er) level kid, until none of those are available. We may very well see Gregg Glenn in this class, but I don't think it will be because they accepted his commitment too early, as it once felt might transpire

I'd be willing to bet there'd be room for him as the 5th commitment in the class.
There's unexpected attrition every year due to early entries in the draft, playing time transfers, etc.

I don’t know if Whitmore just isn’t interested or Michigan isn’t pushing hard but it would be nice to get him to visit. On campus visits with Juwan give us a legit shot.

Cam Whitmore came out with a list and Michigan wasn't on it. The two have basically never been linked by anyone except Matt who for good reason was just campaining for it
