Michigan Baseball vs Cal Poly stream
Trying to keep the fan momentum going after last year and last night, Michigan is playing Cal Poly out in AZ in the first game of 2 today. The top of the first just ended with Michigan putting up 3 (with some help by poor CP fielding) and forcing the CP starter to throw almost 40 pitches.
Game 2 should start around 8 PM EST against Arizona St.

Helluva play by Jack Blomgren to finish off Cal Poly, after they had already scored 2 in the 9th and had 2 in scoring position!
Too early to worry too awful much about our bullpen (especially the closer/9th inning guys), but for the 2nd straight game, 2 HBP in the 9th put us in dire straits until our defense bailed us out.
Can't stress it enough, a pitching staff can NOT allow the opposition free baserunners and win consistently.
But ugly though it might have been in the 9th, Michigan prevailed and is now 2-0 as they head directly to Phoenix to face the Sun Devils.

True but we're using a makeshift bullpen right now.
Our starting closer Willie Weiss is injured but he's close to returning.

Yes, and Michigan is also playing a 4-man rotation this weekend. The usual 3-man weekend rotation, once it starts in March, will free up 1 starter to move to the bullpen. The only thing that has worried me about the pitching staff so far is that Ben Dragani didn't look anywhere close to 100 percent.

I don't really follow baseball but last year the bullpen made me nervous in the post season
