Hello all!

Red Wings are on the edge of being in the playoffs fighting for a wild card spot and are coming into Raleigh Thursday, March 28! The UM alumni club I was a part of is doing a UM event at the game! Should be a good time if you're in the area. Link is live until March 22 and max of 4 tickets per person

Wings **were** in the playoff hunt.

They have been absolute shite since Larkin went down (lost 6 straight) and have fallen from 7th to 9th … currently out of the playoffs. They are in danger of dropping to 10th.

They basically need to go 11-6 in their next 17 games based on how TB, Wash, and NYI are playing. At this point, I’d be shocked if they made the playoffs, which is insane because I am currently shocked they likely won’t based on how they were playing just 2 weeks ago.

but have fun. Great arena, great atmosphere in Raleigh, though parking sort of blows. Good friend lives in Durham so I get to a couple Canes games a year.

Didn't realize the Wings fell that hard. Just two weeks ago, it looked like they might snag a coveted top 3 spot in the division. I would also say that they didn't do themselves any favors at the trade deadline. I don't know if that was an Yzerman call or ownership, but this generation of Ilitch ownership is not about going all-in at the trade deadline.

What's wrong with the parking (other than it costs $40)?  The arena shares parking with NC State football so there are a lot of well-versed tailgaters out there.  It should be in the 70's for the game (based on average temps).....perfecting for Hockey tailgating.  I have my tickets and will be out there.

The jer$ey patch curse is real!

Six straight losses outscored by a combined 32-11.

Without Larkin, and with the patch, the Wings are an older version of the Pistons.

( despite the bitching, I'm going next Thursday to see them play the Isles. Kind of a huge game all of a sudden).

Maybe Chris Illitch is getting what he deserves for selling out and defacing the beautiful Red Wings sweater with that hideous trash patch.

Red Wings have been god awful. They look slow. Can't win a puck battle. Can't possess the puck. When they do get the puck, they immediately turn it over. It looks like they have been playing on a non-stop penalty kill the last 6 games. I hope Larkin comes back ASAP so they can right this sinking ship.
