Again.

so he'll be eligible at the beginning of next season, correct?

Deja vu all over again.

Doesn't move the needle as far as the team's outlook goes, but congratulations and best wishes for the young man!
Very cool that a local kid will be on the team. It's gonna be tough to break into the rotation given the talent Juwan seems to have lined up, but there are countless ways he helps the team improve even without game minutes. Welcome Brandon!

How does this affect Jalen Eason declaring for the draft?

Should be a good depth guy.

A thoughtful, intelligent young man who can play a little too. He was the leader of a good HS team. As the roster stands he should be a welcome addition.

Ant Wright talked this kid up like he was the second coming of Trey Burke.

So, hes coming in as a walk on yet Ant Wright was talking like this is the reason we didnt go after a pg in 2020?

Makes no sense whatsoever.

Ant Wright overhyped this news. The way he was hyping this mystery player up or seemed like they were going to be good and known

He also said this is why we weren’t targeting a SG in this cycle. Which is just flat out wrong considering we went hard after Burnett and Moses Moody and are involved with Josh Christopher and Adam Miller. Ant is not really with it in regards to some things. His career track is basically Marcus Ray where he will have awful opinions and everyone will eventually tire of him.

There are most likely going to be 6 scholarships open next year (assuming Davis leaves and Livers declares). 7, if Wagner only stays one year. There are only 3 current replacements with one still up in the air (Todd). That's a lot of potential openings, with not many targets to fill them. Not only might Wade end up with a scholarship, but I wouldn't be surprised if there ended up being 1 or 2 other transfers going into next year, if the team has success and players get a chance to see Howard in action for a year.
