MGoScout Wisconsin Breakdowns vs MSU

Bucky's 5th Quarter has a break down of their game against MSU up.  I found Part II with pictures especially interesting.

The first "picture paged play" is an example of Sparty taking example of soft zone coverage from the Wisco LBs with their tight end I can see happening this friday.  All in all a good read, any thoughts?

EDIT: Also while watching BTN I noticed Greg Jones on the long James White touchdown run.  He doesn't really get blocked, takes a few steps following the running back, and gives up and walks after the cut back.  Made me giggle thinking about our running game.

Picture pages seem to show that Greg Jones is pretty good - a fast LB with great instincts. We will have to find an answer to him. I would recommend the Omameh-Pancaking-LBs method that worked pretty well against ND's stud MLB.

In all fairness - Jones is going to get his plays. We have not given a sack as yet - and as long as we continue to hold in that department and limit Jones to tackles on the better side of LoS - we would be okay.

hear why you think Te'o is overrated.  You can't just say it without stating the reasons.  Te'o is a very good LB and will play on sunday.  Sure he overruns plays at time and get engulfed by OL(like Omameh's pancake on Te'o in that famous Denard's big run).  He's fast, instinctive and blows up plays.

I'm sure the defense will rush some more men, and they will have to against a non-spread team. It might be good for the defense to not be playing against a spread attack of UMass or the Pistol of Indiana. The offensive style may have nothing to do with how our defense will play, but I like to think it will. It is clear that the defense can't handle coverage long enough to allow for 3 rushers to attack the QB, so they might as well bring a lot of pressure and hope for the best, right?
