MGoBlog at Ironman Lake Placid?
I'm in Lake Placid, NY, to watch my brother race in the Ironman triathlon on Sunday. Today I was walking around town when, to my delight, I saw somebody wearing a Worst State Ever shirt. So...was that any of you? If so, I was the guy who heartily complimented your shirt.

We've talked about this before but my parents have a place in LP. Sucks because we are usually in town for this event. My mom just gave birth to my sister 2 wks ago (fertile puerto ricans!) so travel is limited. We are baptizing her at ND on 9/11 though. Coincidence? I think not.
At any rate, if you want to swim or chill on a dock, let me know. My email is my username at gmail. Theres a sweet place to jump off a cliff into Lake Placid. Otherwise mirror lake is open to the public.

Completing an Ironman (at any venue) is a tremendous accomplishment, and I hope he is able to enjoy at least the finish. The last 0.5 or so of the 140.6 is the best.
Be careful - my wife says triathletes are crazy, but the crazy is contagious.
