I’m confused. Are we a basketball school 24/7 now? I have heard conflicting remarks that Michigan is a basketball school, hockey school, and a baseball school.
Is it a joint custody scenario, where we are a certain school on some days and another school on others?

I don't like this "we're a ____ school" stuff. Michigan had its highest ever Directors Cup finish in 2019. It's an everything school.

If you are referring to the schedule-yes it is very vigorous. Luckily, this team and staff understand that the path going forward is an extremely arduous one...unlike many fans who, at this time, seem to be assuming an undefeated season.
Should this team run the table they will be the overall #1 seed.

Haven't seen anyone spouting about undefeated... There can be unbridled joy about #1 seeds and Final Fours without being undefeated, right? Of course there can be!!
Your subliminal point, though, is valid - there will be some excessively sad and distraught people around when if/when the team loses its first game. Some will even swear the world is ending! Such is life when living vicariously through your favorite sports teams!

That's one of the things I love about Michigan. Both strong academics, in the same elite as other famous educational institutions, AND strong sports, mentioned in the same breath with powerful athletic programs.

Admittedly, I have always thought that the full extent of Michigan's schedules should be available in "Useful Stuff", but alas, I do not make the editorial decisions around here (I don't really consider moderating decisions "editorial" in nature). I can guarantee you that most people here would hate me if I did, or at least more people would hate me than I consider normal around here.
