I was under the impression we took Mo Wagner and then wanted Jaylen Brown and may not have had the room.
But if Jaylen Brown decided and we could have kept Max I don't understand why we wouldn't want another big man bullet in the chamber.
My stepbrother is a huge IU fan, I told him before the season started that he wouldn't regret seeing Max in an IU uniform. He turned out to be one of his favorite players. I don't have any dislike for Belein, but letting Max go was a big mistake. We were so soft this year and we could have used his hustle and effort. That was our biggest area of concern.
Good for Max! He was the last of the players who cmae from the undersized/unhyped profile on the roster ex. Novak, Morgan, etc. Even Burke fits the profile as he was undersized and headed to PSU before JB poached him.
I predict that Beilfeldt plays the game of his life against us in the B1G Tournament. Probably goes for career highs in points and rebounds.
