Marquis Flowers- UM visit for sure
I really have not heard too much about Flowers, but this Rivals article (behind paywall?) quotes him saying how UM is definitely one of his official visits. He's the top player in AZ, 4 stars, and ranked as the number 9 overall athlete on Rivals. The article also states that Flowers is in consistent contact with Coach Dews.....Looks pretty impressive.

So far the big recruits are going to Michigan-ND game
August 11th, 2009 at 1:23 PM ^
One of the many reasons that ND is a huge game this year.

A win in that game could go far in getting recruits and/or turning Michigan football around.

Agreed, that looks like a huge recruiting weekend. Hopefully we put on a good game for them.

Let's keep cherry-picking AZ's top talent.

We are apparently really going after safety this year.
Committed
Marvin Robinson (although some say he is a LB)
Visiting (Last I heard)
Sean Parker
Marquis Flowers
Brandon Ifill (a second time)
Dietrich Riley
Josh Furman (arguable a LB)
Bobby Swigert
Most of these guys are rated pretty high. Good job by the staff getting these guys to come in and visit.

a Safety or a WR?

has Swigert listed as a WR but his video shows DB, KR and some QB as well.

Kid's got some wheels for sure.

and you're right. That dude is shifty like Welker.

Nice link, kid looks like a tough football player. Looks like a playmaker.

It is my understanding that we are looking at Swigert at safety/corner back.
Although as mentioned, yes he does play wide receiver in high school, but supposedly the staff thinks he has a higher upside at safety (plus do we really need any more WRs?)

That is great news. I'd love it if we got this guy.

At 6'3", I could definitely see this guy playing LB, at least the spinner. Depending, of course, on what other safeties we bring in this year.

I am from Arizona and have heard a fair amount about this guy. He's the real deal. hopefully we can pick him up.
