Maniscalco to Transfer to Illini
Just read that PG Maniscalco is transferring from Bradley to Illinois next year, leaving Max Bielfeldt without a scholarship. Hard to see him not coming to AA now. I like this kids tape, as he is a big man who plays primarily down low, but can step out and knock down open 3's. Even though he is undersized he seems very good at positioning his body to allow him to score.

Bielfeldt had said earlier that it sounded like Illinois wanted an answer soon, because this guy might transfer. I guess that's out the window. Good deal.
Also... bad thread title.

All rookie errors can be compensated for with a home run. Or in your case, a thread title change.

Better hope there is not a lockout looming.

I guess Pryor still doesn't measure up in that department.

"Illinois had originally offered Bielfeldt a preferred walk-on spot next season before offering a full scholarship. That is the same Bielfeldt family whose name is on the Illinois' athletic offices building."
Going to be interesting if he heads down there to play wearing maize and blue.
pants them.
...on the Bielfeldt front. I would be surprised if he doesn't come to AA now...he was in town yesterday too, wasn't he?
The only problem may be if he chooses to walk on at Illinois...his family is rich, so the scholarship isn't a huge deal to him.

UMHoops posted a link to a report indicating that Illinois is still offering Bielfeldt a scholarship.
