not 100% sports related....which is why it's "Slightly OT (Possibly)". Thanks for trying to shit on the thread though.

So if I talk about how the University's board of regents raised tuition by 5% for the coming academic year, that wouldn't be off topic?

ONTOPIC
Anything Michigan sports related
Anything related to other Big Ten teams or upcoming opponents
Stuff about the blog itself
University of Michigan topics that don't relate to sports

i have yet to understand the appeal of twitter.

Using Twitter as a social networking service a la Facebook seems dumb to me. Using it as a news/information aggregator is actually pretty helpful. I get notified when new MGoBlog posts are up, and little tidbits of recruiting/practice/news information about the program throughout the day.

same here, i never post anything. I just use it as a news feeder while i'm at work

Personally, I think Twitter is a great way to express and share your thoughts, feelings, and really everything about yourself with almost anyone in a mere 140 characte

I've all of the Michigan Twitter feeds delivered to my RSS reader. Keeping them on twitter was way too much content for a single page.
Also:
Tim, Brian, JohnUBacon, TomVH, Ryan Kartje (who seemed to quit tweeting), BigTen Scott, BigTen Val, Maizenbrew, RichRod, BigTenNetwork
My full RSS feed list would be way too expansive to list here as I probably subscribe to 30 or so Michigan sports related sites, not to mention several other BigTen blogs who occasionally talk about Michigan. Then of course I have enough college baseball links, including google alerts to tell me any time a Michigan player is mentioned on the internet.

I suggest getting a Twitter app (I started using TweetDeck about a week ago). I was kinda over Twitter a couple weeks ago, but using an application makes it so much more manageable.
For those who follow me @varsityblue, that's the reason for my recent increase in tweeting.

UMWolverines
This one seems to put out about 20 news articles a day that pertain to Michigan sports (all programs). I think it is one of the more useful ones...
