M Hockey vs US Under-18 on FSN thread
Revenge? Revenge.
Last year was the first time Michigan lost to the U-18s. A positive is Tyler Motte & J.T. Compher had a great game, which has continued into their play this year in the Maize and Blue.
Keep an eye out for 2014-15 signee Dylan Larkin. Hopefully he nets a goal and has a good game.
Game will be at 7:05pm on FS Detroit. Expect attendance to be sparse, per people I follow who are at Yost right now.
Most importantly- NO INJURIES!

- RELAX. Michigan is #3, 10-2-1 and tied for first place in the B1G. Copp & Bennett didn't even dress tonight.
- Luke Dwyer is 4th string and has had zero playing time. Give him a break. His defense didn't really help him out.

I didn't even notice that Copp and Bennett weren't out there. I thought something seemed strange when I heard Max Shuart's name called. That actually makes me feel a bit better that we weren't playing at full strength

And I can guarantee you they were not playing at full speed, either.
The score of the game is meaningless. Tonight was a win because there were no injuries. Said that after the Waterloo exhibition loss.

Michigan could have scored 10 goals tonight but Olson stood on his head; he was an NCAA goalie a month ago.
Not to mention Jack Eichel who would go #1 in the NHL draft if he wasn't the same age as Connor McDavid.

Postgame Guptill said the upperclassmen made the decision to get Dwyer in the game, not the coaches.

I don't get the exhibitions are meaningless thing. As a payer, shouldn't you be going all out to win every game not giving 10 percent effort and hoping for no injuries.

I hate when they lose these types of games but it's really not that important or telling. Other than this Michigan team is more blue collar than the stud teams of past.
