landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
Holy shit they shut us out from 1906/1914
Seriously impressive..an item to be treasured forever.
That's pretty amazing! I need to step up my collection of Michigan memorabilia, thanks for the reminder!
I can only wish to have such a treasure. But just to be clear, when you say "stuffed wolverine", do you mean taxadermied wolverine? Cause that's bad ass; and that makes me truly jealous.
You cannot see it in this pic, but one of its hind legs is lifted over a pile of buckeyes.
Edit: wow the pic got way distorted. I will try another
very nice - image works correctly if you open it in its own window
nope tried in own window, but distorted. hmmm
Thanks for the assist!
Did you kill it or buy it?
but I prefer a stuffed beaver
(TWSS). I can't get any context how big from the pics above. (That too).
Slightly larger than a one gallon milk jug.
That's awesome, and should display really well. Congrats, for real.
That is amazing, sir - a remarkable recreation, to be sure.
I must admit, I am a little envious as well. I would love to have such a painstaking recreation of a part of Michigan football history in my own collection. I definitely admire the dedication it takes to get something like this accomplished.
Wow! That is amazing
Wow, that's really cool. I am so jealous.
take it to Minnesota, those assholes just take jugs without remorse....
and display worthy, I'd be drinking every beer at every party for the rest of my life from that thing.
Op: where do you tailgate? I'm with a bunch of mich dentists an were in the blue lot. Dave and the coaches all pass by aft the games too.
We're right in front of the Leach-wangler tailgate-are u close to us?
Very cool wolverine btw
For me happens in three places. I park and have breakfast at the NAPA auto store on Hoover and then move over to the the north end of the Blue lot(they have a M flag that has the State of Michigan seal on it, only one like that around), then right down the end of that row where the coaches park where the handicapped parking starts. That is where I had the wolverine and was able to get Brandon to pose. I wanted Hoke and Mattison, but did not ask since we lost. I will next year for sure.
I Thot u were pretty close to us. We're about 10 cars or so down from you in the blue lot. I remember seeing your Wolverine on display. We'll have to have a beer sometime and I'll introduce you to a whole bunch of Michigan dentists!
That is the coolest! The fact that Jill Gordon was the one that painted it makes it extremely special.
This was one of the better-executed plays associated with Michigan football this year. Beautiful.
Kickass!! By the I always wondered where would they write the scores once there was no room left
Thanks, B1G! Thanks, Comcast! Thanks, Rutgers and Maryland! We'll have to get a trophy named for the Little Brown Remote!
I love it!
man, I haven't even gotten my unfinished jug yet...
That is fucking awesome
I'm really jealous!!
what a wonderful momento to pass down to future Wolverines! that jug is something to cherish.....
Very cool sir.
That is the singular coolest thing I've seen in a long time.
Curious, are there copyright issues if someone wanted to create their own replica of the jug? Disclaimer: I certainly wouldn't be doing it personally, I don't have that kind of talent!
Made a Little Brown Jug/Gravity-Bong...
HA! Is it for sale.....
That jug has some serious wow factor. Congrats on a one-of-a-kind UM collector's item.
If this were Jeoprady:
"I'll take jugs with wow factors for $1,000, Alex"
Thats the kind of item you'd see on Pawn Stars in 10-20 years. That's gonna be worth some cash in a few decades
I would have to hit rock bottom. Even when I die, my 3 girls are indoctrinated enough in Michigan that they would fight to the death to defend it. I don't know how they could price it.
Spectacular. That thing is the coolest.
If you showed those pictures without saying it was the little brown jug replica, everyone would have thought it was pictures of the original little brown jug. You could probably get some $ if you ever sold it on ebay!
I wonder what the plan is once we run out of space to place new scores on the little brown jug? Will they just have to write over some of the older dates? That would be quite the dilemma in about 20 years!
There is still plenty of space on the jug, both below the Michigan M and above and below the Minnesota M.
