Still kinda wild to me that LeVert was a pencil thin dude we stole from Ohio at the last minute and then he turned into a terrific college player and then into a longtime NBA player. What a scouting win by Beilein

If you want to go down that rabbit hole - Levert was committed to Ohio under John Groce, only to have Groce leave Ohio for Illinois after his Ohio team beat MI in the first round of the tournament.  Of course, Levert then comes here and the rest is history BUT in an alternative universe Michigan never loses that game, Groce and Levert stay in Ohio and perhaps Levert never gets a chance to develop into what he is today.

Talk about a butterfly flapping it's wings...in retrospect, that has to be the single best loss in Michigan basketball history?

I'm honestly amazed Valentine is still in the NBA.

That was also a bit more of him just slipping.  Credit to Caris for hitting the shot.

I mean Valentine just kinda slipped. Wasn't really an ankle-breaker.

I still maintain that there were few faces in college basketball that were more punchable than Denzel Valentine's.

I was hoping to see a video where Levert did a cross-over or faked a drive.  Valentine just slipped, had nothing to do with anything Levert did.  However, I still got a laugh from watching the video.
