Leaders and Best: we're winning Orson's contest
We are crushing in Orson's pledge drive for refugees. Michigan Men and Women, you all are. If you haven't yet given donations are accepted until the end of the weekend.
Total from the week so far – top 7
- Michigan 33 $4,957.45
- Alabama 13 $1,951.66
- UGA 19 $1,889
- Auburn 39 $1,882.77
- Texas 4 $1,580.38
- Florida 21 $1,369.93
- Oklahoma 8 $919.80
EDIT: A $1,716 donation by Auburn is making this tight. Please consider donating, as it is fun to crush the SEC, but mostly because being a refugee really, really sucks.
OK....who is the Michigan Man who donated a ton of cash? $4957/33 = $150 average donation.
I bet someone dropped 1-2k to put us where we are at.
If you have not already donated, please consider doing so. The cause is worthy, and beating the SEC serve well to balm the wounds of the Gato...you know, that thing that happened.
I donated $47.21. Hopefully ND will give us more Yackety Sax this fall.
I'll contact my friends in the olive oil import and export business.
The Corleone family don't have that kind of muscle anymore.
Text has almost 2000 and only 4 people donated. That's pretty cool
Texas.. sorry iPhone can't spell
If only I had enough money to dontae $2412.69
Outstanding comment. Certainly not as meaningful, but if you're feeling generous, perhaps $6,765.10.
If I would donate, I would do it in the name of a Purdue game, just to see what Orson would do.

$35.21 (hey, I'm a grad student.) It's not an eye-popping score, and in the context of our present situation vis a vis those mouth-breathers to the south it's as much about anger and disappointment as it is about chest-thumping, but goddammit that was the last game I saw as a student in Michigan Stadium and Chris Perry was a fucking Boss.
And there will be better scores to come in the future.
