Larry Foote to Lions!
The Lions finally made a good decision!

Great to hear, especially after years of seeing guys take less money to play somewhere else. Should bring some great leadership at the very least, and I'm sure he'll be a big upgrade on the field as well.
A great pickup for the lions, but could you imagine a LB core of foote and maualuga? Could have been fun to watch. /sigh
Last I checked, Maualuga hasn't played a down of professional football. Nor have any of the players we drafted. I'm just saying I feel that the Lions have attempted to plug holes they have in the best possible manner. In their opinion, their draftees will make a bigger impact than Maualuga. So let's allow it to play out before we allow anyone to be proclaimed a difference maker.
'Fun to watch' does not mean I'm proclaiming maualuga as Jesus the LB, just saying him and foote would have given the lions a marquee rookie next to a super bowl champ. But I guess you're right! Who am I, a lowly fan, to question the almighty 0-16 Lions?
Alright, that's fair enough. And no worries, I feel the same way about our management and the decisions that they have made. It just seems like they're so lost sometimes. I'm just saying give Schwartz and Mayhew a chance.
Jesus would have been a good LB. Honestly I see him more as a punter, in the Zoltan mold.
No way man. Jesus was a pure ball-hawking Safety, way better then Delmas.
I don't know what I think about Maualuga. I don't necessarily think he'll be a stud...
However, the Lions had three chances to pick him, and spending a 2nd round pick on him wouldn't have been a "reach" so they coule have very easily pulled the trigger. They obviously didn't think he was worth it.
Ernie Sims, Julian Peterson, and Larry Foote. Julian might not be the toughest name in the world, but its gotta be better than Paris.
"It's like 90% done"
Would Foote be a Lion if MM were still Prez?
Matt Millen would have drafted John Thompson with the #20 overall.
