Lady Gymnast Set Floor Record in Front of Sold-Out Crisler Crowd
CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!!!
Defending National Champions and you came through BIG again yesterday.
I have to believe the ladies were fired up with a sellout crowd and set a floor record for the fans.
Marc-Gregor (@mgthefrenchy here) tweeted out a photo of a packed Crisler Arena, just an incredible sight. So cool.
WOMENS GYMNASTICS SCHOOL
(yeah, I hear the men are pretty good too)
Wonderful! Wish I'd been there.
Congratulations! Go, Blue!
I figured that there was a good crowd as there were a lot of people who looked like gymnastics fans heading from Crisler as we were heading to Yost for the hockey game. I thought about going before the hockey game and making it a double header but my ride to the hockey game wouldn't have any of it.
Great job ladies! Wonder if any of them might be able to hit an outside jumper? 🤔…..might need them next weekend!
Awesome! I'm going to do some tumbling around the house to celebrate.
just remember to stretch first
Great work Ladies! Hat tip to all the fans, too.
Really wish I could've gone. Been to a few this year, it's really exciting even though I don't know what is really going on with the judging.
🏀Survive and advance - we beat osu in their gym, and now we are dancing! All narratives can shift quickly - let’s go blue!!!

Please just say "gymnast," or at least say "women gymnasts." I promise that if you ask them what sort of athlete they are not a single one would respond with, "I'm a lady gymnast."

Thank you!
Doubling up that thank you. The "good job, ladies," thing is really patronizing.
It was a "Michigan" sellout - a lot of empty seats at the top of the upper bowl and numerous unused seats in the lower bowl.
Last rotation, last event - Gabby Wilson scores a perfect 10.0 on floor exercise. The entire Auburn team walked over to watch, rooting her on all the way and joining in the tumultuous applause when her score of 10.0 came up on the video boards.
I felt kinda bad for West Virginia - all eyes were on M and Auburn and WVU was somewhat of an afterthought.
