Lacrosse Beats Air Force, 14-9, moves to 4-2

Lacrosse takes on the Falcons of Air Force at home tonight at 7 PM at the new facility. I'm not in Ann Arbor but I bet the weather is typical lousy Smarch weather but go down and check it out and root em on.

This is a big game for Michigan.  Air Force has been good in recent years but is struggling early so far this season. They're 1-4 and dropped a game to lowly Cleveland State two weeks ago. At the beginning of the year, this game fell squarely in the toss-up/lean-Air Force category but this is game Michigan can win now.  This is a great opportunity for Michigan to pick up a good win.

Marquette next week is also very gettable now as well.  These are big games for Michigan's young season and if they take care of business they could be 5-2 heading into a matchup with Notre Dame on March 21.

Update: Michigan overcame an early 3-0 lead last night to take down Air Force.  Freshman attackman Kevin Mack had 3 goals and 2 assists and Chase Young (!) added 3 and 1 of his own.  Good victory for this team.  They have a chance to get another good win next week against a vulnerable Marquette team. GO BLUE!

I'm relatively new to watching; my kids just started playing`within the last year, and I absolutly LOVE watching. I just wish more games were televised. Such an awesome sport!

YES.  100%.  ALbany and Maryland should be a great game and some good watchin'.  Albany is usually really fun to watch and they have some unusual characters on the team.  They also have the #1 recruit in the country - a Native American kid named Tahoka Nanticoke who dismantled Syracuse in his first college game.  Enjoy!  (also - glad to see your kids are playing and you're a fan now!)

I'm going to miss it though cuz I have to go to a stupid brunch thing.  BOOOOOO Brunch.

Way to finish. They were in the Ivy League games, but couldn’t keep up in the 2nd half. Good to see them take control and finish.
