Khaleke Hudson is Strong!

Submitted by jbibiza on

According to his Twitter post he did 25 reps at 225 lbs. - only one less than Rashan Gary and more than some linemen at the last combine (Bosa/Conklin/Glasgow).       Amazing!

Glad to hear that. I was lifing right around that amount at 45 when they had to saw my into my chest, thus taking away any desire I had to lift any longer. However, i did enjoy it when getting home from work. I had two choices. If I sat down I'd be doing a power nap. I normally got my ass in the basement and stayed on the routine;  body weight plus about 10 for workouts and around the 225 for power, althernating the days of course.

Glad to read that you are still doing it. Keep up the good work, bro. Makes one feel a hell of a lot better than not doing it. Now I'm restricted to power hiking, use the poles and hike the dunes along with low resistance, the rubber stretchs that keep you toned but, of course, don't do much for strength.

Thanks Wolf...not many guys in their 40s are lifting that kind of weight.  I pretty much switched to dumbbells my shoulders can't take bb presses anymore.

Sorry to hear about you being in the zipper club .. trying hard to not join it myself!

Dune hiking sounds pretty nice to be honest...you up north?  Anyway it's never too late to restart lifting!
