If Canada is going to win, good to have a Michigan man winning it.

Also, Mason Mctavish’s save to keep the game tied in OT is every bit as amazing as advertised. I saw the buzz on Twitter and thought people were overstating it… but they aren’t. The Finnish player in the shot was literally raising his arms to celebrate.

Has there been *any* player reactions to the Pearson developments?   Seems like someone would have said something by now, either positive or negative.

That was a really nice goal, but that McTavish save was a thing of legend!  WOW!!

But, to be honest, I had no idea the US lost before the Gold Medal game.  Oh well, congrats to Canada!

Hockey teammate nicknames are undefeated:
"Stanks made a nice play and got it to my backhand," Johnson explained. "I tried to go five-hole, and that didn't work, but I got the rebound. It was super exciting. I actually thought I would score. I love three-on-three. This gold means the world to us."
