I'm pretty sure any B1G QB other than Art Sitkowski would have tore us up by throwing to those wide open receivers.
This is why projecting how college QBs will do in the NFL is so hard. Almost every year there is at least one first round QB who is a bust. Darnold, Rosen, Trubisky, Winston, Bortles, Manziel, etc.
Look at the list. More 1st round QBs suck than not but most of them looked pretty badass in college.
Also, unlike Barrett and Jones, who also made us look bad, Haskins actually has a chance to have a real NFL career (even if it's as a backup). Basically, Haskins' failures in the NFL don't reflect poorly on the teams he beat in college.

It's actually not hard. I said on this Blog multiple times that Haskins would suck and everyone negged me and said I was being a homer. The dude is trash. He played in a gimmicky offense and I knew with the speed of NFL Defenses he would be garbage. The Redskins will most likely draft another 1st rd qb this year. OSU qbs suck in the NFL. History matters. Also, Darnold is not a bust in my opinion. Haskins sample size is small, but I stand by what I have said all along, he is trash. As for this year.... Tua and Fromm will be the best pros. Herbert could be decent. Burrow will be a bust and so will Eason. I'd take Mond over either of them. Tua should be a lock to be the number 1 pick. Think Steve Young and R Wilson hybrid.

If they did smart things they wouldn't have taken Haskins at 15 in the first place.

I know, right? And he’s that sparty alum who “got into U of M” but decided to go to State because his friends were going there. Somehow that’s not my memory of those events. If he had gotten accepted to Michigan while I was there, damn right he’d have been in Ann Arbor.
