Josh Uche has great week at Senior Bowl.
Good article in the Athletic today about 14 guys who did well for themselves this week in Mobile. (No, Shea was not one of them, in case you were wondering.)
For you non-subscribers, here's the relevant paragraph:
Joshua Uche, Edge, Michigan (6-1, 241)

Our loss is the NFL's gain. He will be a stud in the NFL.

uche has been one of my favorite players of the last few years.

Why would any good QB come to Michigan looking at the results of 2 years of Harbaugh's coaching of his STARTER.
Harbaugh's qb game management thing may work with elite or generatuonal qbs but the record is in and it fucks up everyone else. Jim let someone elae coach the qbs cause all you do is get in their heads.

Ruddock was passed up at Iowa and Harbaugh got a great season out of him.
Speight was not a great prospect and Harbaugh got a great season out of him.
Kap was a second rounder and Harbaugh got to the Super Bowl with him.
Smith was washed up and Harbaugh revived his career.
We had a year without a decent option at QB after Speight went down (though Speight admittedly didn't look good when he was in) and then Shea regressed after spending the offseason golfing.
The last three years were definitely a rough patch, but Harbaugh has a longer history than three years. If you put Andrew Luck into that mix the record looks even better.

Kap amd Smith are the best of the best which is why they were in the NFL I think he had good material to work with.
Luck? Generational qb that would have made anyone that coached him look like a superstar
Shea? Your own eyes tell the story
O'Korn? Harbaugh couldn't fix him either
JR - He was pretty good before he got here and yes he was a good student for JH's game management style
Speight - showed signs of Harbaugh in his head
Peters, Milton and DM - 3 good qbs that Harbaugh couldn't make into starters after years...there is a problem I don't think it can even be argued

I keep seeing this generational talent comment thrown around regarding Luck. If he was so fantastic why was he ranked behind such luminaries as Dayne Crist, Blaine Gabbert, and Mike Glennon?
He was certainly a good prospect (number 7 QB overall) but to suggest he would be a perennial pro bowler coming out of high school is bullshit.

He was absolutely a special talent who got slightly overlooked. But you’re right that he didn’t come to Stanford being seen that way and Harbaugh deserves some credit. I think Kaep and Smith are his bigger successes though.

Dont leave out Josh Johnson at San Diego

And Josh Johnson...guy still gets NFL looks (I believe he is imprisoned in an XFL contract currently). His growth under Harbaugh came as a non-scholarship, division 2, college player.

Our best NFL player & Don Brown only had him on the field 50% of the time.

Uche is a pass rushing specialist, but he's not part of Michigan's best lineup against the run.

Who fucking cares

we suck at b-ball and we suck at f-ball--- i am done!!!!@

Uche is going to do just fine for himself in the NFL.
January 25th, 2020 at 9:55 PM ^
Uche could have pass rushed from the LB position - just like he will do in the NFL
January 26th, 2020 at 5:37 AM ^
Any scout who thought late 2 was too high for Uche before the senior bowl should be fired. The 2nd is when you take high upside explosive pass rushers. If not the 1st. He’ll go early-mid 2nd to me.

I really hope my Giants draft him. We need a pass rusher bad, and he'll probably have great value if we can get him in the 3rd round or something like that.

He will be a steal for whoever gets him.
