Jordan Lomax to Iowa: UM's Chances with Darian Cooper
Darian Cooper's Dematha teammate Jordan Lomax has committed to Iowa while his teammate Darien Harris committed to MSU a while back. Of course a last weekend visit to Michigan always bodes well for UM, but I am left guessing. With teammates at Michigan State and Iowa, are we on the outside looking in? Any chance he is heading to Ann Arbor?

A) He hasn't mailed his LOI. You don't mail them and you can't sign until Wednesday. That's what happens when people try and interpret a tweet they know nothing about.
B)Conventional wisdom says that Iowa was probably ahead anyway. This doesn't seem to help it. That said, I wouldn't say we're out of it, I'm just more optimistic about Fisher and the other four.

I misread a post somewhere. I will edit.

You don't mail them. Heck, he's not even legally allowed to sign it yet. You fax them. That Tweet meant that MSU had put his LOI in the mail, and he should be receiving it in time to sign and fax for NSD, if he so chooses.

I just posted this in a larger thread, but wanted to repost.
If we bring in 5 LBs this class (and still want to bring in guys like Ross and Jenkins-Stone next year), does it make any sense to move Morgan to FB maybe?

are one of the top players in the state of Michigan and they're LBs. If Michigan land one of the two or both, they should be set at LB for the next few years

They will be a legit player for Deaysean Rippy as well if they have enough room for him. It seems like 3 LB's would be a stretch next year unless some kids end up leaving.

Not a chance. He forgot to put a stamp on the envelope and there is no return address to boot. We may never know where he will commit. Fucking snail mail.

If he was smart he would come here. Possible early playing time with a great coach with NFL experience in Mattison.

Honestly reading between the lines of his interview, i dont think he is coming...liked to get some depth at that position but it is what it is hopefully we can pick up that texas TE barnett! Go blue!

We need a TE in this class - much better pick. we should let this one go. (i think its gone)

i dont think so either.... his interview to me it felt like he was tipping hat to msu's players and his relationships with those thugs. hope im wrong.
