We're pretty proud of it. It's one of the (relatively few) things Fort Wayne does well. The *old* library was ranked in the top ten for its service area size nationally, and the new one is an order of magnitude better.

seeing John U. Bacon do a speaking engagement for a group of Michigan alums is always rewarding, even when he's not talking about one of the most important books in the program's history.

John spoke to the FW alumni club a few years ago too. Also my son had Bacon as his "prof" for a class at U of M. Said it was the most interesting class he took at Michigan ... of course it was - he's a ChemE grad.
