I don't think much of Joe Luniardi, but he thinks Michigan upsets Sparty tomorrow at the Crisler Arena and books a spot in the tourney.

They are ahead of us in the B1G standings, ahead of us in RPI, ahead of us in KenPom, ahead of us in every bracket seeding projection I've seen.
I think it is (from a betting standpoint) about right that we are slightly favored, but it isn't a wild stretch to see UM as the underdog here.
What time zone is he in?
It'll be an upset to casual fans who aren't familiar with the teams. People from outside of the Big Ten hear Michigan State and they picture the Final Four teams.
But when I hear Michigan State I picture:

It's as close to a toss-up as I've seen this game. We beat them, but they have a slightly better resumé all around than we do. Plus we're at home, hopefully that means something today.
