SHIT! I met Mandich as we waited for a plane at Ohare-very nice guy and loves the program. I hope he has the chance to see Hoke win a B1G/B10 Championship.

I've been sending prayers his way for some time now, I guess that I'll have to move him closer to the top of the list. A great guy ran into him after a game a few years back, he talked to my wife and I for quite awhile about Bo and the program. Get well Jim!

I love Jim. I would listen to dolphin radio broadcasts just to hear his analysis, well before I knew he was a Michigan alumn. I hope he stays with us a bit longer.

<br>Cancer has consumed my life since Christmas when we found out my wife has kidney cancer. I feel for his family as well, as this is a disease takes a toll on everyone who surrounds the affected individual.

This is a double hit for a fan of the Wolverines and Dolphins.

Damn, here is hoping for the best. I remember meeting Jim at Shula's steakhouse where the Michigan alumni met to watch the games in Miami. First time I had no idea who he was so I just sat with him. While watching the game he suddenly told me proudly "that is my son" when his who had walked-on at Michigan briefly appeared on the screen. I asked what it was like to be the father of a player on the team not knowing who he was. At the end of the day he said bye and when I got up to pay the bill the waiter told me Jim had picked up my tab... Only later that day did I find out who he was.
All the best to you and your family Jim.

I pray it's not too late for him. We've lost too many legends lately.
