Jim Harbaugh books

Submitted by TB12 on

Everyone knows about Endzone, EUTM and to a lesser extent Take This Job and Love It! , but I was looking for some Michigan related books on Amazon and found two new Harbaugh books. First one is out now called: The Turnaround Strategies of Jim Harbaugh: How the University of Michigan Head Football Coach Changes the Culture to Immediately Increase Performance (if anyone has read this book, plz give us a review) and the other is by Angelique and it comes out in September... Michigan Man: Jim Harbaugh and the Rebirth of Wolverines Football. That one is supposed to feature extensive interviews with Harbaugh.

As a guy with a history degree, I appreciate all of the books being written about Harbaugh, even if he hasn't taken Michigan to the promised land yet. Future historians need contemporary publications. It's frustrating as hell working from a "biography" written 100 years later...

Wasn't a really good read and was very poorly edited, but some stories were great. Especially the one of a 10 year old Jimmy knocking himself out cold at Michigan Stadium playing on the steps, but getting up and firing the football back up 50 rows to the thrower.

Agree some stories were very good but many felt repetitive in nature. Not a bad book to skim through at the library or bookstore. Disappointing if you plan to settle in for a few hours of immersed reading. My favorite bits were the old yearbook photos. Knew a number of kids in them. (If somehow I have the wrong book in my mind someone will correct me and I apologize for negging a book by mistake)
