Jake Butt: Michigan had a hand-foot-mouth disease outbreak 2016 MSU week

I saw this video pop up in my timeline, Jake Butt starts talking at the 45 second mark. He says that weird stuff always happens this week, like in 2016 the team had a hand-foot-mouth disease outbreak during MSU week. He said that multiple starters had it and it required them to be quarantining during the week and getting IVs pre-game and at halftime.

I don't remember hearing about an outbreak like that! I looked it up and did find this article where Harbaugh mentioned Mason Cole being sick, and said that his players would have to start drinking more whole milk and doing more push-ups lol

Well, this is bad to hear. However, at least we didn't hear from Da'Shawn Hand that Michigan had an outbreak of Butt-Foot-Mouth Disease in 2016?

Well, needless to say, this is very disconcerting. Clearly, MSU is vastly superior to UM in all things involving bovine-sphincter-interaction. Perhaps fear is indeed an appropriate response.

I caught hand-foot-mouth from my kids earlier in the year and I've never been more sick. Touching anything with my hands or feet was excruciating due to all the blisters. If I were a decade younger, I'm sure it'd likely be less impactful, but I can't imagine lacing up cleats, much less playing a game feeling how I did.

I remember the Mason Cole article, but this is an interesting story from Butt indeed.

The second independent clause in that sentence doesn't read very well.

Oh, you know what I meant....
