It's That Time Again - Pics from Yost

Submitted by mikoyan on

Well, my trusty camera and I went to the game at Yost last night.  Both of us had a blast and of course pics are posted.  I was behind the net though, so I have the mess in my pics so they may not look as nice.

This was taken with my camera phone.

And shots of the game...

Hope you all enjoy.

Mikoyan, I know photography is a passion of yours, and I wanted to let you know that there is a new literary journal housed in A2 that I send my work to, and they have some pretty interesting photos as well. It has a Midwestern theme that may match some of your work. It's called Midwestern Gothic. I find many of their photos interesting, and based on your blog it may be a good fit. Mods, I am no way affiliated with this journal. Just thought a fellow MGoBloogger might be interested.

Great pictures once again and I'm glad you got a shot of the scoreboard for the final time!

I like the shot of the person holding up the number 4 after the 4th goal.

Sidenote, on the second goal I always hold up my pinky and forefinger (the rock symbol), to symbolize that our team will later "fill in" my other fingers with more goals. So for the 3rd goal I either do my thumb, forefinger and pinky or my forefinger, middle finger and pinky (the shocker). Same thing for the 4th goal. It's just one of my hockey superstitions I guess.
