I mean our chances are better than they have probably ever been since Harbaugh’s first year.  We have to win “The Game” sometime right!?  Let’s Go Boys!!!  Go Blue!

Oh, to go back to the nineties when, no matter how good or bad of a team we had, and no matter how good of a team Ohio had, we still would beat them.  Those were the days.  But I agree with other posters, this team is so much different than more recent years.  I firmly believe that we have a chance, but I am not holding my breath!

Go Blue!!!  Hoping the entire team summons their inner Hulk!

the team got to a place to play the big game. Odds/ predictions aside. This team is quite different.

They will play their balls off and leave it all on the field. the record on this board was 8-4 plus minus. Unless we get a Sparty spanking (unlikely) lets be proud of our 2021 team and be supportive. Beat the inbreds in Ohio.

While the game is in Ann Arbor, Ohio State actually had to game plan for the team they played before Michigan, and this is a gritty and different Michigan team, one fact remains the same…we are playing Ohio State…so we are going to lose.  If you accept this fact, the next two weeks will be so much better for you both mentally and emotionally.  In the unlikely event we win, you will be pleasantly surprised.

No scenario where UM wins this game. QB play ,secondary  scorched and red zone FGs will do this team in. They kick FGs against OSU it will be over at Halftime. Offense is not built nor will Harbaugh coach this team to air it out. I just hope they dont put up 60 on UM

Michigan has definitely had a good year but I just don’t see how Harbaugh’s overall football philosophy can win this game.

They will try to control TOP which is fine if you are ending drives with TDs but that doesn’t seem to happen against OSU. OSU will make you pay dearly for empty drives

Wow. So many naysayers in here who would think upsets never happen.
My favorite quote for this situation:

did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

This is a shit thread any other week of the year, but HATE WEEK is here, and we don't suck! Keep the energy flowing, boys!

The staff has actually put together a pretty solid offensive gameplan every time we've played them under Harbaugh, save for maybe 2015. If McDonald can manage to slow down that offense, then we've got ourselves a shot at glory.

Day won't be able to hang 100 like he wants to.

We certainly won't crap the bed like MSU did in historical style.

I think everyone knows that ball control, short passes, running game, and TE crossing routes are going to be Michigan's staple to limit the time their offense has the ball. Cade is built slow and steady for this type of game.

Chances favor the Ohioans, but we will let them know they aren't what they think they are and we can say "Welcome to my House".

Never understand the negativity going into Hate Week.  I hate those butt suckers with every fiber of my being and this feels like the year to finally pull one over on them.  We've been severely unlucky having our best teams needing to win in Columbus, so now we finally get a chance with a team that matches up well with the Fuckeyes in Ann Arbor.  And apparently the team has finally approached this game with a year round focus rather than taking things week by week.  Harbaugh said they've had their eyes on this game for a long time.  Penn State and Nebraska gave that vaunted offense fits and held them under 35 points, and our defense can surely do the same.

And besides, what have we got to lose?  Lose The Game and we still likely go to the Rose Bowl for the first in over a decade for a chance at Harbaugh's first 11 win season here and our first Rose Bowl win since the 90's.  Win and it's even better.  I believe the boys are different this year and will fight their asses off and send Ryan "don't accuse me of being a big liar cheater face" Day home with his first B1G loss.
