Granted, my original premise comes with a boatload of caveats, but if Michigan were to come out and curb stomp OSU I guarantee you there would be talking heads making a case that Michigan is playoff worthy.  Michigan would be the chic talking point on every CFP discussion board over the course of the next week.

I guess I kinda feel like Red from Shawshank when he’s up for parole. Instead of hoping for parole (a Michigan win in this case), I just stop caring and ask that they stamp the form, sonny.

LOL I love how pissed you are at OSU. It delights me that the 2016 game probably has given half of you on this board an ulcer. You all will most likely go to your grave still harboring pain and hate over the results of that ball placement. I am smiling!

I hate ‘em for their smugness. It goes across all age groups. My 6 year old son got chastised by a 60’ish buckeye fan who had to be a relative of my next door neighbor  for wearing an M hat this summer while riding his bike. At first I politely laughed and chalked it up to some good natured ribbing but then, he kept on going for a solid minute because it took him that long to load his fat ass into his Skylark.

I keep telling myself the universe will catch up someday. Hope like hell its this Saturday.

Smugness? That's pretty rich. Most of you Michigan fans think you guys have a degree from Harvard by the way you look down at everyone else. Michigan isn't an elite school. Michigan isn't even an elite football program. Time for you guys to self-reflect.

LOL. You lost me at ‘Not an elite school’. Pick up any global Ranking of colleges and universities, it doesn’t matter, M is an elite University globally.

Not many here will argue that M is not an elite football program at this particular point in time relative to osu. But you couldn’t help but to out-kick your intellectual coverage.

Your priorities are...not surprising. WE AIN'T COME TO PLAY SCHOOL.

Michigan is the #3 public university in the country. Your ability to convince yourself that is not elite is humorous. Your insinuation that sports are more important than academics is just sad. You probably couldn't even get into OSU though, so of course that would be more important to you.

You realize you guys have been using the same Cardale Jones joke for like 7 years, right?  The kid said something stupid, learned from it, and came back and graduated, despite already being in the NFL at the time.  And you think rehashing that tweet over and over speaks to how much you prioritize school over sports?  It actually shows just the opposite, that you repeatedly crush the words of a kid(at the time), not because you care so much about academics, but because he played for the football team you hate.

Wow, you guys are scared as shit, aren't you?

Listen, get over it .... you guys could win the next 100 games and 50 mythical national championships and it would still be HILARIOUS how you idiots think "football success" is greater than success in the 100,000 more important things.

All you seem have is Buckeye Football, and you may be better than UofM but even USC laughs at your 2 championships in 50 years.

And they are a real "rival" of yours = a crap school full of misogynistic dumbass'.

And why do you pretend to be a Michigan fan every day of your existence? You know deep inside of you that your program is a charade. A mirage, if you will. You know that the days of Harbaugh are limited and that you're staring at a countdown clock that has been set in slow motion. It pains you inside. I know. But like all things. Allegiances can be forgotten. They can be reinvented.

Last year I often wondered what Rashan Gary would look like with Chase Winovich's motor and production.....i regret to say thats exactly what Chase Young looks like.

Never truly understood the hatred until my sophomore year, 2009. Sitting in a Michigan Stadium that could've been easily 50% OSU fans, hearing the O-H-I-O chants easily drown out the chants of the student section and the sound of the band. There was nowhere to hide from it that day. On the walk home, we were walking by the Union and I saw a group of four young, drunken female OSU fans all climbing on top of the Union sign outside, essentially mounting it, and doing that O-H-I-O spelling while their fifth drunken friend stood on the lawn and took what must've been 20 pictures.

No one said or did anything about it. I mean....what could've been done, really? Obviously not something worth starting a fight over, especially with a bunch of girls. Can't say I wouldn't have tried doing the same thing if I were in their shoes. But that vision has been burned into my head for years. Their team was better than our's. They knew it, and they wanted everyone to feel like they could walk around town, our town, do whatever they wanted, and no one would say or do anything about it. And they got away with it, too.

I've hated OSU with every fiber of my being ever since. I've met some really good people who are OSU fans. Nice people, rational, the whole nine. People you can have an intelligent conversation with. But still.....I hate that goddamn program, and I want them to experience every single ounce of agony that Michigan has felt as a program over the last 20 years.

We need a true home field advantage Saturday.  The Big House has been pretty loud the past 2 years and I'd love to see it at its loudest on Saturday.  I encourage all M fans to stay on their feet all game (assuming you're physically able) and yell your heart out.  Our team needs every bit of support we can offer.

Well, if Ohio ceased to exist, most of Michigan lives in the SE corner of the state, so we'd be in danger of tipping over and crashing into Ontario, with bits falling into Kentucky. Well, unless Lake Erie fills the space, then it is a large, shallow drainage ditch, which is kind of in line with its character.

BTW, I've been to Guam multiple times.  Loved it.  Some of the poverty one will see away from the resorts is really sad but the island is great and the people are amazing and friendly.

Gotta steal your quote and post this for folks who may not have heard about Mr. Johnson.

Is it wrong that I want the state to be covered with a gigantic mountain range?

I mean, I want the people to move to northern Kentucky and western Pennsylvania before it happens, but I'd really like an epic climb within an hour drive, and that seems more useful than most Ohioans.

I mean, the Wright Brothers wanted to escape the state so badly .....

they INVENTED FLIGHT!

Wolves are going to play with pride. Hope Harbaugh does some of what Bo did in 69. Put a picture of the guy they will see across from them on their locker with two letters 62. Thats enough reason to hate the trailer trash down south.

I hate the Buckeyes 52 weeks a year.  I live in Ohio and they are an insufferable lot. Even ordinarily nice people turn nasty when they put on their Buckeye hat.  One of these years we’re going to beat them and I can’t wait. Please let it be this year!

I hate the Suckeyes because their "student athletes" dont even start classes until Oct 2, and if you are Justin Fields, when "classes" finally start for you (after being on "campus" since January).....you only have 2 hours per month of online classes.

They dont even "play School" .

Sounds like Fields wont walk across campus and sit in a class with other OSU "students" for at least his first year on campus.  Piece of crap school exists so their ballplayers can play "college" football.

Pretty sure our players actually attend classes with non football players
