I’m so PUMPED for Basketball Season and this just put the cherry on top. Hopefully this puts the “Juwan has never recruited” worries to bed.

I'd love to be happy and a lot of good comes around this.

Some have compared him to Juwan in Juwan committed to Michigan as the first of the fab 5 and the other 4 came to join him. With 3-4 other big names still considering Michigan, he could be the tipping point in building this class

However, there is still some concern as to the talk as to why Kentucky backed off and wouldn't let Todd Visit that he is considering skipping college and going to Australia. So we can only hope we don't get reverse Wagner'ed on this one. and 2 months from now he goes pro in Australia.

First off he wouldn’t be going pro until after he graduates. Secondly, most of the guys who have went overseas lately did not commit to a school (RJ Hampton, Lamelo Ball) before going. Todd seems to have built a bond with Coach Howard, so we might be secure in this commitment

Awesome player here in North Carolina. So happy for Juwan Howard more than anything. He WANTS to be good at Michigan and did not come back to the school with a sense of entitlement and arrogance. When the baseball team was playing this past summer-Juwan Howard was there rooting them on. He is good person and kids are going to want to play for him. This kid will not be the last highly rated recruit to come to Michigan.

I just paged down through all the basketball threads-looking for a "Matt" response. Matt, I know this puts you in a "tricky" place, with your addition to the staff and all but at the same time your takes here are highly valued...and for very good reason. (Clearly you have deleted several of your previous entries-am guessing over propriety concerns of divulging too much inside-type info.) Please rejoin us peasants!
