hypothetical here, what if we lose to utah and its not pretty, let's say 21 point difference. Does Hoke get the axe and Nuss hired as interim?

So who would become the interim then? Look I get this is like 1% chance of happening, but if we got romped by utah that'll make hoke 4-8 in his last 12 with wins over NW, indiana, app st, and miami. I feel a lot of people would be stepping in to have a say about where the program is heading at that point

I believe there had been a few people floating the theory that Nussmeier could be the coach-in-waiting when he was hired in Janury, and I will be honest about this - I do not know where anyone got this idea really. It was fairly clear at the time that the most pressing issue as the staff and department saw it was the offense, hence the hire. It would be difficult to believe, at least for me, that there was more to it than that.

Is it possible to watch the entirety of this video and not be overcome with extreme sadness/rage?

Michigan does not yank a coach off a bus and say, "Grab your bags, too".
If it were to be decided soon much more likely an announced "early retirement" or "promotion" to assistant AD.
Fred Jackson would be a likely interim HC.

I saw enough of that game already. Don't need to see any more.

It was a "how much polish can we apply to this turd" director's cut.

Ok, I watched it. I really like the format of the show this year. I appreciate hearing the players' thoughts after the game, and seeing the sideline coaching. I've always wondered what they are saying over there. I remember thinking Jim Brandstatter was always pretty hard on Coach Carr. I don't see that with him and Coach Hoke. I wonder why.
