Coffee with the coach: "Brady, who do you want to replace you after this season ends? And do you agree they need to replace you as soon as you lose The Game in Columbus, so the next coach can get a head start on recruiting?"

I believe there had been a few people floating the theory that Nussmeier could be the coach-in-waiting when he was hired in Janury, and I will be honest about this - I do not know where anyone got this idea really. It was fairly clear at the time that the most pressing issue as the staff and department saw it was the offense, hence the hire. It would be difficult to believe, at least for me, that there was more to it than that.

Michigan does not yank a coach off a bus and say, "Grab your bags, too".

If it were to be decided soon much more likely an announced "early retirement" or "promotion" to assistant AD.

Fred Jackson would be a likely interim HC.

Focused more on prep and sideline coaching than anything else. No interview with the coach, either. Just a very surreal episode...

It was a "how much polish can we apply to this turd" director's cut.

Ok, I watched it. I really like the format of the show this year. I appreciate hearing the players' thoughts after the game, and seeing the sideline coaching. I've always wondered what they are saying over there. I remember thinking Jim Brandstatter was always pretty hard on Coach Carr. I don't see that with him and Coach Hoke. I wonder why.
