"Iger says the redesigned ESPN App will have three new features:
...
2. Live-streamed ESPN networks (provided a user is a subscriber to ESPN's service, either through a traditional cable package or digital TV package)"
A standalone ESPN streaming service would be appealing, but why would one pay an extra $5/month when ESPN is already part of an existing, paid subscription?
You don't think Philly fans give their players standing ovations?
Every fanbase cheers their team when they play well; few let the boo birds fly when they're not. Too many Detroit fans fall in the latter category unfortunately.
Having grown up in Michigan and lived in Boston for the past five years, I assure you that Boston fans are better than those of Detroit's pro teams (I don't include UM fans in this group). Any fanbase that consistently boos their own players (see Detroit and Philadelphia) is not one I wish to be a part of. As for Boston being "as racist as they come," there's a shameful history here with regard to race (as in many U.S. cities unfortunately), but labeling current-day Boston a racist town is just plain wrong.
It seems that the article is referring to this upcoming Sunday, not last Sunday, and thus the word "were" is a typo. The article says, "Tagovailoa has also said this week that Harris is also his scheduled roommate in Tuscaloosa," appearing to reference a future date.
is how disconnected an otherwise very connected Adam Schefter was throughout the entire Jim Harbaugh situation, especially in spite of his U of M ties.
That gum. That poor gum! It’s getting chomped. Mashed. It’s a tiny, helpless glob in the ever-gnashing molars of Jim Harbaugh, who sits across the desk, beneath a Michigan cap, smacking his jaws with the authority of a five-star general chewing on a recruit.
“If you want to be enthusiastic THEN…ACT… ENTHUSIASTIC!” he roars, his eyes bulging, his face widening into total bemusement, as if he’s entertaining himself as well — yet all the while, those teeth keep banging, flattening the pale white niblet — Chomp! Mash! Chomp! Mash! — like a cow chewing its cud at warp speed, until you wonder if his mouth isn’t an engine and that gum the fuel.
"[M]any, many people have died fighting for the country and values that flag symbolizes, and Kaepernick's actions can be interpreted as disrespect of that country and those values in that context. I can't know for sure, but it's quite possible Harbaugh feels that way.
This is all well and good as long as there's an acknowledgment that this discussion has valid opinions on both sides. Harbaugh's initial statement didn't leave room for that. His clarification did."
This story could be pared down to the above two paragraphs.
Or less:
JH misspoke when responding to a question for which he wasn't prepared, and appropriately corrected himself shortly thereafter. The end.
"I don't know, time will tell," Parsons told Maize N Brew about whether he will keep his commitment to Penn State. "I have two years left.
"I was caught up in the moment," he added of the early commitment. "I believe in (Penn State coach) James Franklin bringing winnings seasons back and I wanted to help. It is close to home. I could have enjoyed more of the process."

Brian's description hit home for you, didn't it.
/begrudgingly upvotes
Actually, he explicitly said, "I was hoping Dylan or Brandon got it," referring to the starting nod.
So, if we agree that Shea is better than DM and BP, then we also agree he's advocating starting a worse QB because "Harbaugh recruited him."
Priority #1 for the coaches should be fielding the best team possible for every game - not validating Harbaugh's recruiting* abilities.
*footnote: the process whereby Harbaugh wooed Shea to Michigan WAS recruiting
In other words, you'd prefer an inferior QB to get the starting nod - simply because Harbaugh recruited him.
That's weird.
I'm relieved you're not involved in the decision process.
Hoping for anyone other than the best QB to get the starting nod is lunacy.
A well-reasoned take.

"Whatever"
Harbaugh is far more jovial in a presser following a good win than a presser following a bad win or a loss.
Contrast the post-Florida presser with the post-Cincinnati and post-Air Force pressers.
The subset of fans that send death threats likely overlaps the subset that endorses booing their own team in the home opener.
It's generally the dumber fans who boo their own team.
How is a comment like this getting downvoted?
I'd like to see someone make the argument that booing DOES show class and DOES show respect for the team.
I feel I'm being asked to not believe my own eyes when I read he's only 190 pounds.
Because of the week 1 opponent, the QB with the most experience has a huge edge in the QB battle.

We can
Go to a Tigers game...
We can have a legitimate debate over whether booing your own team's players is appropriate or constructive, but personally it makes me cringe.

If you ask me, this is a perfectly rational take on Michigan basketball in 2017 with which many of our own fans would agree.
I believe those are otherwise known as "alternative facts."
He'll be playing on Sundays.
YTNS?
I think the writer needs to check his tenses.

Crootin'
Any others that you know of? (Not asking for names.)
Also important to remember that a jury's decision does not necessarily equate to truth.
Spell check, man. Good lord.
How much were tickets?
Recruits of the highest caliber? So like Rashan Gary?
We could've made the CFP the easy way. We chose the hard way instead.
But hot damn that's a good song
Pretty sure goofing off in college is not limited to D1 athletes. I know this from extensive experience.

Reliving this with the knowledge of where we are now is absolutely wonderful.
Ed Davis is still being held out, probably in hopes he can get a seventh year.
Take it up with David Turnley, Pulitzer Prize winner. I'm sure he'll be receptive.
I need a bath after reading that.

His answer had far more to do with honesty than political correctness.
OK

But then again...

He really does remind me of Frank Gore.
I love the varied skillsets of the incoming RBs.
Just wanted to post this photo of our own Grant Perry making a nice grab against solid coverage by Stritzinger. Seemed relevant enough.
But do his gut feelings reliably apply to personnel decisions, as well as recruiting?
Not happy unless we're not happy
Tough crowd.
This is a lesson worth remembering for virtually all of us.
