The Huge Show

Do you guys listen to this guy Huge? He is on at 3 every day on sports talk in michigan. What you guys think of him? I for one think the guy is a tool with no clue about anything and he seems to change his mind with his stupid predictions as soon as he gets proven wrong. The guy is all talk with nothing to back his words up. But as much as I hate him, i can not stop listening to his show for some reason. maybe its cuz i get a kick out of the bogous things he says

He was in Chicago several years ago and generally made an ass out of himself.  I seem to recall that he managed to get beaten up rather badly at a bar by Comisky after a White Sox game, and that seemed to lead to him leaving the Chicago air waves.

Yeah, and initially he made it out like he got jumped by random people and "poor me" and all that, except it turned out that he'd been running his mouth at I believe Jimbo's and being an ass (the radio persona apparently isn't an act, he really is an idiot) and he apparently wrote a whole lot of checks with his mouth that his ass couldn't cash.

I remember him arguing once for two days during a discussion about steroids in baseball that more muscle wouldn't help one hit a baseball further.  He said he knew this because his brother, a former minor league baseball player, told him it was so. 

Apparently stupidity runs in the family.

on the way home from work. I live near his flagship station, so he's been on the air here for about 5 years now. It was interesting for a while, but eventually I realized that he doesn't have an opinion that isn't flexible. He just tries to lean against the audience and create some outrage that way. You'll get sick of him eventually.

I like sports radio so I listen, but his "opinion" is always to get rid of everyone. When the Tigers season started going south he was all over Leyland (I think it was the fat and happy players that did this team in not to mention injuries) but he wante dto get rid of the manager and Magglio! What a moron... he used to hate Michigan football under Lloyd because Lloyd refused to interview with Huge. Those were the good old days. RR grants interviews all the time with Huge and now Huge thinks he is a big deal. I also hat ehow he is an Oklahoma wonk ( I think he went to school there). Anyway he is garbage and his show sucks, but it is the only thing on during the drive home.

Has probably some of the worst topics ever "tell me your favorite memory of Tiger Stadium", or "tell me a movie name that would work for the Detroit Lions", then a bunch of 80+ year olds call him up and forget what they are talking about half way through.  Just horrible!

I think the only reason he is still on the air is because he has no competition (at least in West Michigan from 3-6)!  And plus his commercials are ear shattering, dude will advertise anything! 

If anyone knows of anyother sports talk radio in West Michigan please let me know!

Get Sirius XM. It really does kick ass. When I think back to the shit I used to listen to 3 or 4 years ago it makes me sick.  And when I'm forced to ride in someone else's car and listen to that crap I want to blow my brains out.
