This is how it used to feel every season

For all the youngins who have endured a lot of bad football and heart break, I am happy for you. Those of us who became UM fans in the 80s and 90s got to experience this many times. This really did feel like a throwback season, right down to the style of play. So good. So, so good.

The old OSU teams were more like this years MSU team. Solid strong running and even to us in talent. This OSU is something else. This is more like what Harbaugh did vs USC at Stanford. In a player draft 18 of the 22 starters would come from OSU. This takes this to a whole new level. Maybe 69’ levels?

Yes. When I was 12, my dad and I went to The Game. That was 1995, the Biakabutuka game. Told him it felt like that today in terms of a) how so few gave us a chance at winning and b) we just ran the ball at will on them.

My 28 year old son (who was born the morning of of the 1993 game with an OSU Dr - I went to the game btw) was at the game. He’s been to 4 OSU games.

I always talked about how the 1997 game was my favorite ‘in person’ sporting event.

Now he has his. Great win.

I was at UM in the early 2000s, when we were winning these games as often as not.

The last ~16 years have been so dark... even 2011 felt more like a fluke.  This feels... back to normal.

So true, but instead of just ruining OSU's season like we always did back then, this year we have an opportunity to play for more and possibly get into our first playoff.

For the younger ones like myself... this is everything I ever wanted. Guys, they finally did it. Jim Harbaugh delivered. Haskins trucked dudes and then trucked some more. The defense held strong. They made plays. They fucking did it.

They took down the fucking Death Star and did it with style. And we all got to see it. It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine. I've suffered for years with you all. I'm so happy to be on this side, finally, with all of you. Go fucking Blue.

This was my childhood all the way into my early 20's.  Beating the Buckeyes nearly every year.  Just 3 losses to OSU from Kindergarten to junior year of college.  Now THAT was a childhood.

Those of us who go back to the late 60’s and 70’s can attest that this was reminiscent of those Bo years.  Just run the damn ball, and sprinkle in a few passes here and there.  Play aggressive and enthusiastic defense.  Win the game.

The first Michigan game I ever saw was the 1969 Ohio State game. Today's game has me feeling like that 9 yr. old boy all over again. What a special group of players. They truly are a brotherhood.
