How does Caris' decision affect Jaylen Brown and Kenny Williams?

Sam webb said there was a contingency plan for Brown and Caris so I'm assuming they could use that with Williams instead of Brown.

We really need a PG in the 2016 class to back up Senior Walton and be ready to take over in 2017 (or back up MAAR). So, somehow, we need to open up a spot in 2016. Unless Brown or Williams can play PG, I don't see us taking them. If we do take them, and they stay for more than one year, we would have to open up 2 scholarships in 2016 in order to bring in a PG.

Whatever we do, we need a PG for next year's class. I'm sure Beilein has a plan, but if Walton was good enough next year to forgo his last season (which he very well may be), and if Albrecht exhausts his eligibility next year (which he probably will), we currently have no one to back them up.

That's a concern.

I have very little concern about this staffs ability to identify and develop PGs, I wouldn't worry too much about this.

is already on the roster or comitted? Who whould you suggest, besides MAAR? Maybe Williams can play the point. I am hoping that is what Beilein is thinking and talking to Williams about. Otherwise, what have you got? Robinson? Chatman?

Williams is from my area. Its worth noting that Beilein is still lived and appreciated here in Richmond VA for his coaching at Richmond. My dentist office actually has a University of Richmond signed ball from JB.
