Harbaugh to the Raiders?

Submitted by WolvinLA on

Some of you may have heard about this, but out here in CA it's bigger news.  Al Davis and the Raiders want to hire Jim Harbaugh as their next head coach.  In response, Stanford is looking to renegotiate Harbaugh's contract to lock him up for a while and to give him more money.

Jim is either going to get more money for the job he already has, or he'll get a chance to be a HC in the NFL.  Either way, not bad.

I hope he stays at stanford.  It's a good fit, a dream job for him, and it has to be more fun than a pro job, just from the collegiate eye candy, let alone all the rah-rah stuff that you lose in the pros.  Only a moron would coach the raiders under Al Davis.

Jim would be risking his coaching career by working for that senile old psychopath, Al Davis. If I were his agent, I'd advise him to stay at Stanford for a couple more years. He's bringing in a pretty good recruiting class and could, potentially, field a very competitive team in another year or two.

He is so not a Michigan Man if he goes to the Raiders.  LOL...

If he does, I wonder if he'll get a billion negative articles rammed up his ass like Rodriguez did?  My guess, no.

would be career suicide.  Until Al Davis relinquishes control of the team the Raiders will be a joke.

I like the idea of Harbaugh coaching the Lions, he could coach them for a few seasons then take over the Wolverines when Fraudriguez gets fired.

I still love Jim Harbaugh. All the s**t that he's taken over the past year or so is sufficient punishment for him. I don't think he deserved half the s**t he took, btw.
