Harbaugh loves him some Don Brown; confirms hiring Brian Smith to coach safeties
Not exactly new info but the first time Harbaugh has confirmed the Smith hire and the quote about Brown is great.

Wow. That's actually sort of a Harbaugh-level intensity too if I am imagining this scene correctly. The Brown hire already made a ton of sense, but now it makes that much more. I actually didn't know that Smith had experience playing under and coaching with Brown - football is a small world indeed.

of the coaching puzzle Harbaugh needs to win NC's at Michigan. With Brown's crazy, aggressive, and talented defense, and Harbaugh's innovative pro offense, the sky is now the limit. And both guys exude a high level of intensity that the players will feed off of.
I'm going to believe this is true, mostly because I want it to be, and it fits into my narrative.
