I'm still impressed that the CSG election came down to 5 votes... talk about every vote mattering.. Yikes.

An imaginary Harbaugh running the CSG would probably be completely unnoticed by campus. CSG doesn't actually do anything

but in my four years there, I honestly never felt like the CSG actually made any impact on my life (positive or negative). Usually it was resolutions and junk. I think voter turnout for those things is single digits

For the most part it is a huge joke. However, I guess last year they worked with Brandon to fix student seating... (Dumb GA policy would've changed anyway).
Usually it just ends up being a title for resumes for the students and sometimes the epicenter of the pro-Israel/Zionists vs pro-BDS/Palestinians circle jerk.
The most I've interacted with CSG is just for funding purposes for my student organizations on campus. That is probably the furthest extent to which people outside of CSG probably interact with CSG...
Well, it's a nice introduction to parliamentary procedure... that's about it.
If my time at Michigan was indicative of anything, he may actually be better than any of the CSG people begging for our votes. Hell, a friend of mine almost gamed the system for the Maize Rage party one year, being that he had already graduated, and no one noticed until the 11th hour...
Really, CSG is the biggest crock ever.
There's M Racing and then everyone else. Resume padding express.
