Harbaugh on Cowherd Tomorrow around 10:15

Not promoting ESPN by any means but it will be interesting to see Colin walk the plank after basically laughing at the notion that JH would ever consider coming to AA for over a month.

does anyone in the media ever get called out for stuff like that?  Especially in person?

I'm reminded of a certain newspaper hack that told Michigan fans to "know your place".

I think we can say with 99% certtainty that Harbaugh has no idea what Cowherd or anyone else was saying about him during his transition from SF to Michigan.  It won't be an issue.  Harbaugh is taking advantage of yet another opportunity to put Michigan football in the limelight.

I am guessing his first reaction was "Colin who?"

I think he said, "Colon Cowturd?  Funny name.  Whatever.  I'm in.  Gotta run.  Throwing out first pitch at Copa in a few hours.  Need to throw both ends of a double header beforehand to loosen up.  DJ!  Get the car and set GPS to the closest strip mall!"

The spirit of your point is correct.  Harbaugh don't give a f%ck what some loud mouth on the radio says nor is generally aware of it.  BUT, don't you think the athletic departments media/PR apparatus is well aware and would likely coach up Harbaugh prior to an appearnce on national radio/TV?  Harbaugh doesn't go into any fight blind or unprepared.

Who would have guessed he has Michigan and the under for 7.5 wins.  I wish that JH wouldn't go on his say anything that gets people talking about me show.  Second wish would be for him to blast Cowherd.  Just talk shit the whole interview about Cowherd, to his face.  My sports talk choices are a station that has a talk about the Seahawks 247 format, seriously I do not care one bit about Russell Wilsons contract,  or listen to ESPN talk about the stories that they have reported, or that they stole and say they are reporting.  I am from Michigan so I didn't have an actual pro football team to root for growing up, the NFL means nothing to me.  Only leaves me ESPN.

I can't wait to see Harbaugh's "WTF did you just say?" face we saw during his pre-draft QB mentoring video.  I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of that face - enough to make it worthwhile to watch Cowherd.

I remember reading something talking about that Harbaugh shouldn't go to Michigan because he can't win the national title there. Really? I'm sure Harbaugh could win a title at college football's winningest program if he could take a 1-11 program to the Orange Bowl.

Cowherd is awful. I can't stand him. A few months back he was talking about his mystery candidate that his "sources" gave him, and he laughed at the idea that Harbaugh would come to Michigan. According to him, Michigan was a "good" job in 1998...

can be very annoying, but I will give him credit for at least sometimes going out on a limb and not being a media puppet like Mike and Mike are. Those two disgust me, especially Greenberg.

If I was given a life-sentence in a Russian prison and I was tortured to listen to either Bayless or Cowherd for the rest of my life, I would choose Bayless

I may catch some heat for this, but I actually don't mind Cowherd on most occasions. If you take him for what he is worth and know going in that his "shock radio" personality is designed to get ratings, it's an easier pill to swallow. I actually respect him to some extent for going against the grain on some occasions and not walking the company line.

Some thread replies are very predictable on mgoblog.  Before even clicking into this thread, I could have predicted that all 46 comments were going to be about how much they can't stand Colin Cowherd, and they all were.  I can completely understand when and why someone hates The Herd but I think sometimes mgobloggers come off as thinking they're above listening to a popular sports talk radio that is a somewhat "shock-jock."  As I mentioned above, I think he's a d-bag but I think he's great at what he does in making his show entertaining and enjoyable for its listeners, and I've actually heard he's a nice guy outside of radio also.  I find him to be a much more intelligent than a Skip Bayless (okay, that's not saying much but he gets compared to him a lot) and more realistic about things.
