On Harbaugh, Brandon Redux

Submitted by WFBlue on

I was re-reading a post Brian made almost two years ago in the depressing last season of Hoke and Brandon and I thought I would re-post it as a reminder of how far the program and the fanbase has come. It is easy to forget, as we contemplate our current embarrassment of riches (coaching, roster talent and attitude), how dark those days were.

Remember the good old day when RichRod left all Carr's assistants to sit in a hall way all day, only to fire them all. The good part is he reconsidered regarding Fred Jackson. Fun times. Carr then asked everyone on the team to transfer.

I am still wondering if David Brandon was really an undercover agent for Staee or at minimum was under the Imperious Curse. It really seemed like he was trying to burn the program down on purpose. Obviously in a better place now but there is zero chance Harbaugh was going to work for Brandon. Also glad Brian Kelly isn't here. Ask ND fans how much they love him.

cmon Ty. Brandon was the wrong guy for job, period. I'm sure he had what he thought was best. he couldn't have been more wrong, especially with the "all that glitters isn't gold" snark. he suffered from deep narcissism and behavdd accordingly.

Not quite sure why people are so upset with this post.  It documents the end of the downward spiral.  The healing was about to begin.  On Harbaugh: " Michigan is not a far-fetched destination according to them."

The one thing I find a little noteworthy is that Brian put Manuel third on his AD pecking order.
