Great feature, Blake Corum on Gameday

Must see piece on Captain Blake Corum’s upbringing on a Virginia farm.  The impact and sacrifices made by his parents and granddad to get him to where he is.  And how the character was instilled in this young man.  Legend.

One of, if not my singular, favorite Michigan Wolverine player ever.

I'll be rooting for him no matter what NFL team he ends up on (even the Packers).

But let's play 2 more games first.

Per JH:

"There's a thing about him and it's rare.  Usually, umm, when an empathetic person and the savage warrior has that same make up -  you're talking about being the best version of yourself on and off the field, and that's him.

Comes from the parents."

I value culture a great deal.  The culture of Michigan football has been impressive to me.

IMO, Hutch was a big part of it - the culture change in the program.  Every play, coach, and staff member embodies it.  Blake, Mike, and JJ have continued to foster it.

I look forward to seeing which players will be the informal leaders in the future.

And - full recognition and credit to each player - for their efforts and responsibility.
