Submitted by cmedacco on November 20th, 2021 at 7:28 AM

It’s game day every body! Let’s focus on this game for the next 12 hours, make some turtle soup, and kick Maryland’s shell in!

Then..

Let’s turn our attention to The Game happening in Ann Arbor next weekend and enjoy what we have coming!

Only two regular season games left! Let’s enjoy the day, seize the moment and Hail to the Victors!!

My Dad made turtle soup from this big snapper that he caught on this local lake when I was a kid. He’s an outdoorsman.

Something not right happened and it literally was the most toxic God awful smell that filled up our entire suburban neighborhood for a full block. Hazmat suit bad.

Our neighbors called the fire department wondering what was going on.  My mom was so pissed.

He never tried that one again.

I will actually miss part of the first quarter today due to an unavoidable family thing. I do try to avoid these events generally, especially during football season. It isn't even my family either (it's the wife's) as mine is not from around here (as in, this country) originally and Thanksgiving is just something we adopted (and dare I say, improved) out of boredom. She, however, has family that can only come here this weekend (more like, passing through from Chicago on the way to visit family in upstate New York) so we're doing a little thing for them today.

The Game Thread should auto-post around 3 PM.

Same here.  In fact I've come to watch virtually all games that way.

1. No commercials

2. No halftime

3. I can decide when I want a break

4. Can't post in game threads anyways because the traffic gums up the servers

All you have to do is disconnect from your phone for a few hours.  Because if you don't know the results everything that happens is "real time" to you.

Will be taking my son and two nephews for their first college football game. Wife in tow for her second as well, hoping for a nice relaxing injury free W for the good guys!

Heading out this morning to see the fall colors in North Georgia.  Plan to be home in time to see opening kick off.  Go Blue!!

Purdue and Northwestern playing at Wrigley Field today - how cool is that for the players!
